The ICT Web Master has set up permissions for each Foreign Policy Research Group on the "classes" Web server.  Here are Web addresses for each group:

Group 5. USA http://classes.maxwell.syr.edu/PSC783/2006/USA

Your web account

A web account has been setup for you called xxxxx (see above).  You have Advanced Author permissions to this web.

 Opening your web

·          You can find a tutorial on opening your web site in FrontPage 2003 here: http://ict.maxwell.syr.edu/content/view/212/59/

·          Note: Please substitute your web address listed in this email for any address shown in the tutorial screenshots.

Note on logging in with FrontPage

·          Please remember when entering your username into FrontPage, you must type maxwell-school\xxxxx.  If you just type xxxxx, it will not work.  Also please notice the difference between a backslash \ and a forward slash /.

Moving Web Files from Your Student Account to the Course Web Account

Moving your Web files from your student Web account to the class Web
account is easy.  Use FrontPage's "Publish" function to copy your files to
the class Website.  You can find a tutorial on how to publish your Website
           here:

Please note that the "local" website is your student account and the
"remote" web site is the classes Web. The Web master has set
           permissions on
your folder so you can publish your files to it.

As always you can come to the IML and receive assistance on doing this
