Description: Help out with
a number of activities, including working in the
'Kids' Korner', assisting in the set up and break
down of stages, running the opening parade,
attending barricades, monitoring recycling, and much
more!

Walking Distance: Yes, however, it would
be easier to get there by bus. There are many
routes that will take you to Clinton Square, but the
"Connective Corridor" bus would be your best bet and
it is free. The bus schedule can be found at

Get off at the S. Clinton Street stop and walk 2
blocks North and you will be in Clinton Square.
Description: From 11AM -
5PM, help set-up route signage, booths, inflate
balloons, organize walk materials. From 4:30PM -
9:30PM, work registration tents, distribute packaged
food, distribute balloons, assist along the walk
route, face painting, walk site clean-up after walk,
etc.

Description: To provide women in need of safe
affordable housing and the opportunity to seek out academic,
vocational, and life management training to prepare them to reenter
the community as useful, productive individuals capable of sharing
their strengths and talents. PREFER WOMEN.
Potential Opportunities: Childcare in the evenings,
cleaning rooms to prepare to move-ins, organizing food pantry,
assist with various holiday parties. Need clerical assistance,

Description: Dorothy Day house is a safe shelter
for women and children who are in crisis. Advocacy, crisis
counseling, casework, support groups and referral to local agencies
such as social security, the Department of Social Services,
counseling services, vocational training centers and educational
institutions is offered. THE SHELTER IS IN A CONFIDENTIAL LOCATION
WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE FROM THE UNIVERSITY.

varied and depend on the immediate need of the house. Opportunities
include but are not limited to tutoring children, meal preparation,
sorting donations and supervising children.
